Okay kiddo, let’s go on a little story adventure! 
Once upon a time, there was a big country called Pakistan. But guess what? It was kind of a weird shape — like having your shoes in two places! One shoe was in the west (called West Pakistan) and the other shoe was way far away in the east (called East Pakistan). That’s like if your toy box was in the living room, and your toys were stuck in your neighbor’s house. Super hard to manage, right?
Now, the people in East Pakistan (which later became Bangladesh) felt like they weren’t being treated fairly. 
They spoke a different language (mostly Bengali) and had their own way of doing things, but the rules and leaders mostly came from West Pakistan.
They were like, “Hey! We want to make our own choices and speak our own language!”
So guess what happened? They said, “We want to be our own country!” 
There was a big fight in 1971. It was really hard and sad, but with help from another big country, India, the people in East Pakistan won the fight.
And ta-da! 
They made a brand new country called Bangladesh (which means “Land of the Bengals”)!
So now:
- Pakistan is still there.
- Bangladesh is its own country with its own flag
, people, and cool things like spicy food and cricket players!
It’s like when two kids who share one toy decide they each want their own toy to play the way they like. And that’s how Bangladesh and Pakistan became two different places!
